We are super excited to announce that British DJ and dance music producer Redlight will be joining Louisa Johnson to headline our Freshers Ball at #FreshFest16.
Redlight has collaborated with artists such as Mobb Deep, Raekwon (Wu-Tang Clan) and remixed acts including Mary J. Blige and Tink - defining genres, remaining one of the UK’s most consistent and exciting producers of recent years with tracks such as 'Lost In Your Love' and 'Get Out My Head'.
Louisa Johnson, winner of X Factor 2015 will performing at the event. Her top five hit ‘Tears’ is Louisa’s latest single since winning the X Factor with her album due to be released this year.
The Freshers Ball takes place on Sunday 25 September at the Athena as part of our #FreshFest16 programme of day and night time events – all designed to make your start at DMU truly unforgettable.
Other events include the #FreshFest16 Opening Party featuring UK top five band WSTRN, Solo 45 and DJ Nathan Dawe, cinema nights, free ice cream, ColourFest and trips to Harry Potter World and Twycross Zoo!
