We want to celebrate the festive season and all of the amazing things that your Students' Union has achieved this year with support from the university, and of course - all of you lovely lot! There are 10 massive things in particular that we'd like to share with you this festive season - so here is our #DSUFestive10.
Our first gift in the #DSUFestive10 is the massive #DSURevamp in 2016.
Thanks to a £3million investment from the university, the Campus Centre is going to be transformed to give you all an incredible environment for relaxing, socialising and making the most of your university life.
DSU will have even more space in the new building, taking over the downstairs areas currently used as a food hall and retail space.
DSU has worked with DMU to select CPMG, who also designed DMU’s Hugh Aston building and brand new Art and Design Centre, to oversee the project. Based on input from current students of what you’d like from your SU during our #DSURevamp campaign, CPMG have released this concept video...
We can’t help but squeal with excitement! It’s sure to make a real difference to your university life.
CPMG are now working on more detailed plans and ideas for your new SU home. We’ll be releasing these next year for your feedback, before the work starts with planned completion in winter 2016.
