Could you be the next leader at De Montfort Students' Union?

We’re looking for our next part-time liberation officer who will be the voice of mature students at De Montfort University (DMU). Being an officer is an amazing opportunity for you to gain extra skills to help your CV stand out. 

At DSU, we provide the successful candidate with lots of training to become a successful leader. The Mature Students' Representative is a voluntary position, that holds the responsibility of being the voice for mature students across the university.

This could involve creating campaigns, hosting events for your peers and lobbying the university to make a change at the highest level.

You will also be supported by an amazing full-time executive team, who will guide you to creating a lasting impact for mature students.

Laura is part of the full-time Executive team who will help support the volunteer part-time liberation officers.

Laura Flowers, Academic Representation Executive at DSU said: ‘Becoming an officer is your opportunity and your chance to represent people who are like you, and ensure that they are heard and considered at every level of the university.’

‘I can’t tell you enough how wonderful it is to be able to see the difference and the change you’re making and have the ability to help so many students. I am so glad I ran in elections and I know you will be too!’
