De Montfort Students' Union are looking for their next set of Student Executive Officers.

These are full time roles which are filled via an elections process.

Details of the process of the elections is as follows:

Nominations Open - 23/01/2023

You can nominate yourself here - DSU Elections 2022 elections2023 (demontfortsu.com).

Students will need to log in and devise a manifesto of why you should be elected, what you will lead on, change and inspire.

There will be workshops during this period on manifesto writing for students to attend and any questions can be directed to voice@dmu.ac.uk

Nominations Close - 01/03/2023

Candidate Briefing - 02/03/23 – 08/03/23

You must attend a candidate briefing before you can participate in the election process.

You will not be able to campaign before you do this.

Campaigning Opens - 09/03/23

Not a usual interview process.

When campaigning opens you can begin to campaign and share your potential and explain why students should vote for you.

Voting Opens - 13/03/2023

The elections is a democratic process and DMU Students decide who is right for the position by voting.

Students vote for the candidate they want in the role.

Campaigning continues throughout this time.

Voting Closes - 20/03/2023

No more voting. The process is over.

Results - 22/03/2023

Results night. Celebration of everyone taking part and announcement of the results.
