When all new staff members join DSU, a comprehenseive induction takes place to provide an overview of the organisation and to introduce the policies and procedures which govern the employment relationship.  This is provided so all staff have the information they need relating to their employment.  Staff should be given the opportunity to understand the type of organisation they are being employed by and also the policies and procedures we implement and expect our staff to buy into.
