Join us for a Half-Day Basic Emergency First Aid Course designed specifically for all student groups. This essential training will equip participants with the fundamental skills and knowledge needed to respond effectively in emergency situations. Course Content

The course covers a comprehensive range of topics, including:

  • Managing an Incident: Understanding how to assess and manage emergency situations.
  • Disorders of the Airway: Recognizing and addressing airway issues.
  • Resuscitation: Learning the principles of CPR and life-saving techniques.
  • Safe Use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED): Gaining confidence in using an AED during cardiac emergencies.
  • Unconsciousness and Recovery Positions: Identifying and managing unconscious individuals safely.
  • Choking: Techniques to assist someone who is choking.
  • Epilepsy: Recognizing seizure activity and providing appropriate care.
  • Burns/Scalds: Understanding treatment options for burns and scalds.
  • Control of Bleeding and Bandaging: Learning how to manage bleeding and apply bandages effectively.
  • Fractures and Head Injuries: Identifying and responding to fractures and head injuries.

Cost and Refund Policy

The course is available at an affordable cost of £20. This fee will be refunded after you have successfully attended the course, ensuring that participants can gain valuable knowledge without financial concern.
