Hi! We are DMU Esports and on Friday February 19th we'll be hosting a 'Give it a Go' Refresher event on our Discord server. In regular circumstances we would book the gaming labs on the top floor of Gateway House each week, but with the Covid-19 situation we've moved to running these online via our Discord server which is the hub of all our activities.
For our 'Give it a Go' labs we'll be running custom games for League of Legends, CS:GO, along with some fighting and rhythm games. Official start time is 6pm but drop in or leave at any time, we'll do our best to get you in the next match. We have a wide range of playing abilities so no need to worry about not being good enough (or too good!).
While the focus of this lab session will be on the games above, we do play a much wider variety. People are playing all sorts of games on a daily basis from Overwatch to Among us to Chess. Along with playing games together we also run tournaments for our members, and compete against other Universities in National Leagues for different games.
