Hey!
My name is Makisha or Kisha for short! A postgraduate student in the Arts & Design faculty. I am standing to be elected as the student representative for MA Fashion management with marketing, as I strive to ensure that across the board all students have the capacity to be heard when vocalised. As an individual who spent her time at DMU as an undergraduate & has now gone on to further develop into a postgraduate, I can assuredly say that I have not only the experience but knowledge of the student life here at DMU. I believe, that I can stand as a representative having been in the position of the majority of the student body.
As your representative, I aim to ensure that:
1. All voices across the board are heard & actions are made
2. Any actions made are to the benefit of the student body
3. Fun activities that encourage fellowship on the course to develop strong relationships towards the future
