Hiya! My name is Dilan and I am a 1st Year Computer Science student.
If I get elected as course rep, one of my main priorities will be to promate awareness and understanding of individual mental health within the realms of Computer Science.
As some of you my know, the world of computing can be quite isolating, especially as a result of the pandemic. Being able to recognise potential mental health issues and knowing how to find support are some of the key issues that affect students.
Offering support to those who need it, and providing resources to struggling individuals will be my focus as a course rep.
