Who am I?

My name is Haseena and I am nominating myself to be a Course Representative. 3rd year is a stressful year, where students will be busy meeting deadlines, revising for their exams and also planning for once their time at the University ends. This is where I would like to come in. I want to ensure that the student cohort feel content with how the course is being run and know that YOU can also make positive changes to the course through regular interaction with both the faculty and yourselves

My aims are;

• Make sure that the students views are shared to the faculty to promote communication and compatibility for the course overall
• Implement any changes that students want to take place (E.G. providing more resources)
• Make sure that any concerns or opinions are expressed, this will provide a chance for YOU to have a direct hand in YOUR education.
• Ensure that all decisions made by course leaders will be beneficial towards our undergraduate group.
• My key priorities is make sure that you are heard, because as students, you will have first-hand experience in how you learn best and what areas can be improved.

I believe that my previous experience as form representative, and leadership skills that I have developed from marketing opportunities I have had, will ensure that I ease into the role as a course representative easily. My organisational skills alongside my attention to detail will be useful when identifying any issues throughout the course and ensuring that they are handled appropriately.

I have a positive and approachable nature and I want everyone on the course to succeed. I would be honoured to have a chance to make a lasting positive impact to your final year!
