Hi. My name is Kuljit Singh and I nominate myself for the BA Accounting and Economics Course Rep because as an approachable individual, I believe that I have the skill set required to be a Course Rep. My role as a student council member during college has equipped me with interpersonal skills and team working skills which are pivotal traits for this role.
I aim to represent Accounting and Economics students and put forward your views and suggestions. This will then allow improvements that you want in our course to be made. Some of the areas of concerns that have been raised and require attention include:
- more practice questions and mark schemes,
- networking opportunities and guest speakers,
- more opportunities to improve employability skills
- less formal examinations
- a wider variety of optional modules,
- more support sessions.
Thus, I will take these suggestions forward and I will make the changes that you want to see.
