Dear whom it may concern,
I am nomitating myself to be the course representative as I believe it is a role that I would fit into nicely and also recieve a lot of experience from. I am an Accounting and Finance student who has achieved a 1st in every module so far bar one. I enjoy learning about accounting, especially tax, as it is very important knowledge to have through life. I have also been on a finance internship during year 1 and 2 of my studies, now for my final year I am a Data Intern for the same company. The role was originally a 1 year FTC, however it has been extended twice due to my contributions to the company. The company I work for is called Ricardo Rail, it is a global assurance and consultancy company with ~700 employees. I work closely with senior stakeholders in implementing global change.
I feel that I would benefit this role due to my current experience, my try-hard attitude and my willingness to learn. I want to assist the Accounting and Finance course as much that I can and help any students who feel worried/stressed during their study and help all round wherever I can.
I run an investing instagram page in my spare time (calebsinvesting) where I share knowledge and blog my investing journey. Being a course representative would bode well for me in terms of character building, recognisability and confidence. I want to further build my personal profile.
