Jilly Kosar

Hi, I'm Jilly some of you know me as Jamila, I'm a third-year single honours psychology student.  Over the last couple of years, particularly during this summer, I have supported a lot of fellow students with various university and personal matters. A lot of students have requested I run for student representative this year, so here I am. I am determined to contribute my time and energy to create positive changes that students want to see. I want students to feel I'm a person who they can trust and rely on to fill the bridge between students and the Health and Life Science Faculty. I will take active measures to initiate the changes students want to see.

Given the current pandemic situation, I believe the Health and Life Science Faculty need to offer additional support to all students this year, whatever that support may be for them to achieve their academic success. With excellent communication and organisational skills, I believe that I am the right person for this position to give a voice to the voiceless many. I'll put all my efforts into making your final year of your course as smooth running and enjoyable as possible. With many years of experience in leadership roles, I believe that I am a suitable candidate for this position. Over the years, I have developed many friendships with my peers and developed good working relationships with lecturers and the Student Union Team.
