I believe that being a student for most people is to enjoy their time, do their best and get by. A lot of people are too quiet as to voice themselves, so having a course rep who can convey their hidden voice to the University is important.
I will happily listen to any student who comes to me with problems and take note to try and get to the bottom of the situation, being their focal point between a course member and the lecturers of DMU.
I personally dislike conflict and I will look at trying to resolve problems as soon as possible to make the student's voices heard and to also promote the values of DMU as a whole.
