Hi

My name is Niamh, I am 23 and in my first year of Midwifery.

I would love the opportunity to be a Midwifery course rep, having been to Univeristy and studying Social Policy prior to Midwifery I feel I have a range of experience that I could bring to this role, as my time at Birmingham University has given me a good insight into what I, and many other students, want to get out of their time studying, and what things are most important to them whilst studying.

As this course is very different to my preious degree I am looking forward to the new challanges and hope that my approachable and friendly manner will allow students to feel comfortable coming to me with any issues or suggestion. Nothing is 'too stupid' or 'a waste of time', if its important to learning and an individuals expereice whilst at university then it's worth considering and putting forward. I would be honoured to be the one to do that for fellow course mates.
