Hello to all the future Biomedical scientists!
I am Shweta Mali, an international student, from India and I would like to step up as your Course Representative this year.
We are all aware that this academic year of 2020, our university has marked the shift of curriculum towards blended learning. We as students as well as the faculty are facing problems in their own stands and if I am one of the course representatives I would offer help and support in terms of lecture delivery and practicals through the faculty. The staff is giving their best to educate us and I would make sure that you get the most of this year and acknowledge the content and the practicals offered by the staff. Also, with our final year projects being completely online without any access to the laboratory, I would offer various options in terms of laboratory skills with guidance from the faculty to help us grow professionally ahead in our career and expand your opportunities by giving you prompts about any useful webinars taking place.
Being an international student I am aware of a few problems you could be facing like access to the study material, internet or other necessities, I would put forward these problems in front of the faculty to help you get all the support.
As a representative it would give me a great opportunity to work on all your issues and provide feedback to the relevant faculty and also convey any new ideas and feedback you have.
I sincerely hope to get the required support from everyone.
