Hi everybody - my name is Aisha and I would like to nominate myself as a Course Representative for Year 3 Arts and festivals management. I am a third year AFM student and based mainl within Clephan Building. If I had to describe myself I would say that I love communicating with others and I highly enjoy meeting new people, I'm a people's person.
I have a great concern for people and enjoy helping fellow students. I can see how impactful the role as a School Representative can be - being able to listen to the opinions of my fellow students and forwarding YOUR concerns to different bodies. My mission is to represent my fellow students views - whether or not I agree with views expressed. This is not about me but about all the students in the Arts and Festival Management which I not only want to represent but moreover support.
Voting for me is a great opportunity for YOU to get your voice heard, a direct imput for YOUR thoughts and ideas. I am here to listen to you guys and I assure you that I am able to take the responsibility and make a positive change. One of my aims is to increase overall transparency between us students and higher staff. This will ensure effective communication between both parties, and allow you - the students, to raise any issues or contribute towards the growth of the university as a whole.
I assure you that I will try my best to help you in any way I can and will be very grateful if you decide to vote for me as Arts and festival Management course Representative. You won't regret it.
