As your student representative last year I listened to your concerns irrespective of whether you were telling me as a fellow student, friend or passer-by. I then raised your issues and concerns anonymously and as my own at all of the meetings - making sure to follow up on any progress.
What you would expect of a rep. right?
Well this year evidently is not like any other, but I am still comfortable taking on the position of being your representative - why?
I am not a 'yes man', I will not agree for the sake of agreeing as it does not achieve anything - instead I will raise all of your concerns alongside proposing a potencial alternative/solution.
I want only the best for our year and the years to come, and so should you.
