Hi there!
I'm Yusra and I would like to nominate myself as a second year Economics representitive! Having been School ambassador, stduent voice, house captain and form captain, I believe I have the confidence, seasoning and experience to bring forward my views and debate for the best opportunities for Economics.
So why vote for me?
I am compassionate and a good listener and so will be happy to listen to the opinions and needs of my course members
I also want to be there to help everyone with mental health and advice about uni and uncourse related stuff
I aim to increase more contact between course mates in seminars and lectures to build confidence and allow everyone to become more comfotable and make more friends as well as work together.
I also aim to increase more social events for economics students as I know we lack in that, and would like to create an active economics society for students as well as add some spice and start the economics ball where everyone can come together and get lit- perfect time for the gurls and man out there to dress boujee and slay this existance!
I want to bring a change and want to make sure that all students are heard and will fight for our course and the quality of teaching as well as quality of notes
I will organise events and workshops for work experience and bring in people from the economic industry to gain knowledge
I will fight to create fair assignment deadlines
So vote for me to make the Economics course the baddest course at DMU and bring more spice and oppotunies as well as fun to the subject and its people!
