This is Nafisa Habib, bearing a student number of p2500769 would like to participate for becoming a course representative for my course.
I would like this position because being an international student I can compare the educational quality from where I come from and can be critical to make it better.Also, I served as student chairperson in De Montfort international College, from where I learned to talk to my peers and solve the problems along with my course mates, teachers and director of the college through board meetings. I am a responsible student who would definitely not want to see her class peers going through difficulties and I am always the first person to raise voice on behalf of a shy friend and reach their voices to lecturers.
I would replace myself with the current course representative because I attend all the classes and my course mates can reach me anytime. Our current course rep is not always present thus we sometimes feel his absence since we can't reach directly to the lecturers. Also, I feel like there is a lot that we can change within the course and we have never had one to one tutorials with our personal tutors which has never been mentioned thus I feel like I can come up with more ideas to make the course even better for everyone attending the lectures.
