I'm a second year student who already helps run the committee of DMU Poker Society as a health and saftey officer. I therefore feel that I would be suitable for the role of course rep, since I have skills that involve engaging with people and passing on their concerns or questions. If I were to be elected, this would allow me to become a suitable link between members of the course and the university.
