Foyin Ojomo

Hello, my name is Foyin and I am currently the Student representative for Year 2 Medical Science.

I would love if I could contiune this position as much progress has been made during my second year as student representative. Some of the sucesses consist of increased sense of community within the medical science cohort by creating a whatsapp groupchat that allows all the student to communicate and share any concerns whether it be about lectures, events or ust general help which has been very successfull at keeping us all connected especially during these unprecedented times. We had also ensured all student opinions were heard at each meeting with feedback given to the whole cohort afterwards, as well as creating petitions to raise concern for improvements or changes.

If given the oppotunity to be a student representative again for third year medical science I would like to propose the following based on current opinions shared by students; ensure the continuity of constatnt communications between students and lecturers is upheld which will be especially beneficial as it is our last year, ask lecturers to try incorporate more interactive learning activities in seminars to help students understand topics more and to just generally continue or improve the standard of satisfaction of all the students.
