Candidate for the position of Year 3 Representative:Law, Human Rights and Social Justice - Rep

Liam Sutton

If you were to vote for me in this student election I would make it my priority to make sure your concerns and suggestions are put across and considered by lecturers, professors and heads of school so that you have the best and most fulfilling time at DMU. The third-year is an incredibly important and influential year for your future, so you should not have to worry about problems with your course that could be easily solved by a meeting with myself and the respective lecturers.

In my second year, I acted as the course rep alongside Wiktoria Pulka, another amazing candidate, and we made sure to run drop-in sessions throughout the year; alongside attending all meetings with the course leaders. Unfortunately, due to the rise of Coronavirus, we had to cancel a few of the drop-in sessions that we planned to be catered and provide CPD points for any first-year students who attended. However, I hope to able to run more of these sessions in the next year to make sure your voice is heard and you feel rewarded for giving your opinion, which is incredibly important to me.
