Manifesto:
I would love the opportunity to be elected as a International Students’ Representative.
I am running for this elections, as I enjoy helping students that are not familiar with this university, especially international students, I understand how hard it can be to move to a completely new place because originally I am from Italy; so I would love to support and make students aware of the countless programs that would help them feel comfortable here at De Montfort University. My main strength is that I am a multilingual student, so I can speak a variety of languages such as Italian, English, Punjabi, Urdu and Hindi which would help me in certain occasion to communicate with students that are not from the UK. Previously I have worked for the Royal Air Force, this has taught me main skills such as organisation, communication and punctuality which would highly be suitable for this role. If elected my goal would be to promote DMU as a diverse university, comfort students and engage them in activities so they can enjoy there time at this university. Vote for me I am the right choice, vote for me I’ll be your voice.
