My name is Chandra Khatri. I am a 1st year student studying Accounting and Finance.
I was an Anti- Bullying Ambassador during secondary school. As an ambassador, I was responsible for interacting with the students who have been treated unfairly. I was one of the first point of contact for the students other than the member of staffs. I would hear the student’s complaints and try to understand the severity of the issue and deal with it accordingly.
I would like to run in the election because I want to make a positive difference in the life of students and make it a memorable experience of their life. I would like to achieve this by promoting equality amongst students, so everyone is fairly treated. I am caring, supportive and good listener which will help me embark on this challenge to tackle the issues I may face.
If I get elected, I’d like to promote the DSU and encourage diversity activity in the University and outside of campus.
