Hi Everyone...
I'm currently a second-year student studying English & Creative Writing. Having said this, my course is very diverse in the sense that there is no right path, therefore having that freedom and liberty is the feeling I want to give to all students, despite their ethnicity. I believe it's very important to treat everyone the same because everyone matters. At De Montfort Univerity, with the use of societies and sports, this should allow every single student to feel safe and comfortable within their own race. And this is exactly what I hope to achieve or even continue with- building up opportunities and giving students the best possible university experience.
As a committee member of the Hip Hop Dance society, I have seen students of all ages and background excel within a hobby of their interest. I only hope, given this opportunity, that I will be able to do the same with every single student and allow you to pursue whatever goals you have in mind.
