Representing your academic interests
Being a Course Rep not only helps to drive change on your course, it can also develop you as an individual giving you skills you can use as you embark on your career after graduation. DSU will provide training and guidance throughout your time as a rep and we are on hand to talk through any issues you may have, just email email@example.com.
Course Rep training
Training is the first step in how you can learn to be a champion for your course. It covers the basics of being a Course Rep, including but not limited to:
What academic representation means and you role within this.
How to raise concerns and feedback to your programme team and/or Faculty.
Key communication skills.
We will run training events for all Course Reps and it is really important you engage with these so that you gain the skills needed to create effective change for you and all your fellow students.
We are currently running online training for Course Reps and these are availiable below in the Training Resources.
