DMU Griffins!

Growing, fast-paced, and one of the most successful clubs over these past years, with links to various local & national league basketball teams.

Comprising of one Women's team who play BUCS and two Men’s teams with regular training, and matches every Wednesday for our first team in BUCS and our 2nd team in local Leicester league. As well as being a competitive club we cater for all abilities; from those who just want to play and meet new people, to more competitive players wanting to compete in the weekly League!

Joining a sports team is the best thing you can do at university, make some awesome friends, keep fit and get involved! 

Not everyone joins a sport a society because their the best at it, many people join because they like different aspects of it and want to try new things.

Make the most of your university experience and join Men's and Women's Basketball!

DMU Active sessions:

Thursdays at 17:30 at Queen Elizabeth Leisure Centre - you must bring your student ID and have booked before the session via the DMU Leisure app.
