We at DMU Hindu Society believe it is important to educate ourselves and our fellow university members about our culture & religion, this is why DMU Hindu Society has decided to take itself further and give itself a greater presence on the internet and social networks!

We believe that we should be able to communicate globally with our members and providing a unique and enlightening experience.

We aim to achieve this through the use of workshops at our weekly Aarti and Social events, which can really help people, get to know each other. 

We believe that combining our own culture and upbringing that we can enlighten and inform our members.

We work hand in hand with our partners at Leicester University and with local temples as well as being affiliated with the National Hindu Students Forum (NHSF) to provide a wide reach of education, cultural activities and gatherings.

Membership to our society is £4 per year.

This helps us learn from and teach one another as well as helping introduce new people.

Our motto is simply... In the joy of others lies our own!
