Hi, name is Lucy and I'm running for student voice representative! There are many wonderful things about studying nursing at DMU - most of all you guys - my fellow students - however, there are clearly things that can be improved upon. There needs to be more recognition that student nurses are not your typical student and we face unique challenges, which sadly aren't always accommodated. I can't promise to fix everything, but I can promise that if YOU are having an issue, I will listen to your concerns/suggestions and ensure they are escalated. I really believe that we have a really important role, because we are the future of nursing and I am determined to improve everyone's experience of this (often very stressful!) course!
