As your returning International Students' Representative, I vow to continue to advocate for the needs of international students. I am proud to have worked alongside DSU in hosting various events and activities which have greatly improved the overall wellbeing and quality of life for international students here at DMU, such as the International Welcome Week. I vow to continue to use the experience I've gained from my various roles on campus as a Brand Ambassador, Course Representative, Applicant Relationship Manager, Vice President and President of a society to help students and parents outside of the UK with visas, applications, and orientations. My first action as International Students' Representiatve will be to organise a drop-in event celebrating international students whilst also simultaneously offering international students an opportunity to discuss and receive help on any issues they’re facing.
