Candidate for the position of Third Year Computer Science - Rep

Tennessee Renvoize

I have been a computer science course representative throughout second year and feel this has prepared me to be an excellent third year course rep. I have a good relationship with the course leaders and module leaders, and know how to raise issues appropriately and effectively to get the best results for student satisfaction.

Some of the key things I will campaign for if elected as your third year course rep:

-              More comfortable chairs and dual monitors in the computer science labs.

-              Fewer emails from DMU filling up and spamming your inbox constantly.

-              Accessible online information about which labs are free and when so you don’t have to go all the way to Gateway to find out the labs are busy.

-              Better response from lecturers about persistent lateness and talking disrupting lectures .

I want your final year to be free of unnecessary stress and concerns, so I promise to work as hard as possible to make your views heard by higher staff throughout the year at all Project Management Boards (PMBs) and Student Voice Committees (SVCs), so you don’t have to worry about it.
