Women's Rep Candidate

Currently, I am in my first year studying Criminology and Criminal Justice with Psychology. I have been at DMU for two years as I changed courses after my first year and I have greatly enjoyed my time here. In my spare time I volunteer within the university as well as outside. One of these roles is a Special Constable within the police force as well as volunteering for a charity that work with victims of domestic abuse within the county. Within the university I am a course representative and I am a peer mentor with My Unipal.

Throughout the duration of my course I have learnt a lot about women and their under-representation within society. I am passionate about ensuring that women have equal opportunities and that they have the voice that they deserve. It would be a pleasure to represent my peers within the university to help combat issues surrounding sexism and inequality and to create a positive environment for all.
