The promoter of this prize draw is De Montfort Students' Union, located at De Montfort University, Campus Centre, Leicester.
The prize draw is open to all currently enrolled De Montfort University students who are eligible to vote in the 2026 Student Elections.
Students must cast at least one valid vote in any eligible election category to be entered into the prize draw.
Only one entry per eligible vote cast will be counted.
Voting Week will take place from Monday 2nd March at 9:00am until Friday 6th March at 4:00pm.
Votes cast outside of this time period will not be counted toward the prize draw.
Students may vote in any elections they are eligible for, including;
- Full-Time Student Voice Leaders
- Part-Time Student Representatives
- Part-Time Student Group Committee Elections
Each valid vote cast in an election you are eligible for will count as one entry into the prize draw.
Students who vote in person between 10:30am and 3:30pm in the Campus Centre at De Montfort University will receive a token to spin the prize draw wheel located in the Campus Centre.
Prize wheel participation is subject to availability during the stated hours only.
The main prize is one Nintendo Switch 2
The prize draw will close at the official close of voting on Friday 6th March at 4:00pm.
The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries.
The winner will be drawn on Monday 9th March.
The winner will be contacted using the details associated with their student account.
If the winner does not respond and collect the prize within 7 days, another winner may be selected.
Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or alternative items.
De Montfort Students’ Union reserves the right to withdraw, substitute, or change any prizes at any time without prior notice where necessary due to circumstances beyond their control.
By voting in the elections, participants agree to these Terms & Conditions.
The decision of De Montfort Students’ Union in all matters relating to the prize draw is final.
Any attempt to manipulate the voting process will result in disqualification.
Student information will be used only for administering the prize draw and elections in accordance with De Montfort Students’ Union’s data protection policies.
Winners may be invited to participate in publicity related to the prize draw, including photographs or social media posts. Participation is optional and refusal will not affect their ability to receive the prize.
