The DMU LGBT+ Society 'Winter Wonderland Ball' returns for yet another year!
The night kicks of at Bossa Cafe bar at 7pm, and runs through the night until 1am!
This year, we are joined by the wonderful Jade Justine, who brings with her a Smörgåsbord of festive goodness...
- From 8-10pm, Jade Justine gets all Christmas on your butts with a Cabaret act, where games and prizes await ;)
- 10pm-12am follows up with some awesome Karaoke, and a great time to dust off all those old Christmas greats to break our vocal chords in unison!
- Concluding the night from 12am-1am is a Disco extravagansa, to finish the night off in style.
The fabled buffet table makes a guest appearance from 7pm-10pm to fill those rumbly tummies, and prepare you for a night of joyous tipsiness. Make sure not to be late or you'll miss out on some top-notch crimbo grub!! If you have any food allergies or requirements, please email us at dmulgbt@outlook.com and we will make sure to accomodate you (there will be some gluten free, vegan and vegetarian options by default).
All existing drink deals offered to DMU students are still available on the night, but still make sure to bring your student ID along with you.
The night is formal, so dress code is preferably formal, but do not worry too much if you have no formal wear available, anything smart will be appropriate.
TICKETS
Tickets for this event are £10 each, and is good for the whole night! Included in your ticket, ontop of all of the above, is one free drink, from the following list.
- 1 Bossa Nova - Cocktail
- 1 You're a Joker - Cocktail
- 1 Not Called Sally - Cocktail
- 1 Carribbean Iced Tea - Cocktail
- 1 Bottle of Budweiser
- 1 Bottle of Coors
- Any 1/2 Pint
- Any Soft Drink
Tickets can be purchased here on the DSU site (if you are a DMU Student), and are collected on the night at entry to Bossa.
You can now also buy 2 tickets, one for yourself and another for a friend if you want to bring someone along!

NOTE - There is a limit to the number of tickets that are available, so if you want to attend, it is recommended to secure your ticket as soon as possible, as we cannot guarantee there being leftover tickets on the night.
Tickets will not be refundable, but if you end up not being able to make it, we will be more than happy to transfer a ticket over to a friend.
