HONG KONG: The Peak at Night

Saturday 24 March 2018 / 7pm - 9pm

Meet at Central Station

De Montfort Students’ Union (DSU)’s Officer Team will be helping hundreds of students deepen their knowledge of Hong Kong next month by delivering a number of FREE events.

Both Ahtesham Mahmood, President of DSU, and Mike Mayes, VP Media and Communications at DSU, will be flying out to the historic city alongside 350 second-year students as part of the latest mass #DMUglobal trip.

The Officer Team will serve as tour guides as they take hundreds of students to see the famed Symphony of Lights, some of Hong Kong’s best street food and the city’s highest point.

  • Tuesday 20 March – explore and see what central Hong Kong has to offer;
  • Wednesday 21 March – Symphony of Lights;
  • Thursday 22 March – evening drinks reception with the Vice-Chancellor;
  • Friday 23 March – Temple Street Night Market;
  • and Saturday 25 March – The Peak at Night.

And while four of the additional events we’re putting on in Hong Kong are completely FREE, due to limited spaces you’ll need to sign up first using the button below.

While this event is FREE to sign up, you'll need $90 HKD (about £8.30) for transport. We’ll take a trip on a Victorian-era tram to the highest peak on Hong Kong Island to see the skyline lit up at night.
