Our Volunteering team are working with local charity, Toys on the Table, this festive season to provide toys and gifts for children in the Leicester and Leicestershire area who might otherwise not receive anything this Christmas.
This is DSU’s sixth year working with the project and the goal has been set to collect and wrap more gifts than ever before. This is where you come in!
To get involved, donate new or unused toys with a value of up to £10. Donated toys can be handed in at DSU Reception (in the Art Factory building) by 4pm on Monday 12 December.
Once all gifts have been collected, we're inviting you to join us at 'The Big Wrap' on Wednesday 14 December in The Hub upstairs in the Art Factory building 12–3pm. Loads of volunteers are needed to help with this mammoth task! You can pop in to help wrap for a few minutes, or the full event. What better way to get into the festive spirit than wrapping gifts for local children?!
