Advice

DSU Advice is a free, confidential and independent service for current DMU students.

The service has a team of advisers who are able to help with a range of welfare and academic queries. In some cases we can also act as a companion at university meetings.

If we can't help you, we can also usually refer you to someone who can.

If you would like to speak to someone in person, you can find us on the ground floor of the Kimberlin Library, every Tuesday between 2 - 4pm, or on the Students' Union Hub between 10am - 3.30pm on term-time weekdays.

How are we governed?

DSU Advice has its own Code of Practice which governs all of the procedures and processes of the service. This covers areas such as confidentiality, conflict of interest, the standard of help you can expect from us as well as your responsilbities when you use this service.
